We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption.

Nello was found in Mexico in an empty building. No one knows how long he had been there but he was hiding in the furthers part of it so it was difficult for anyone to know he was there. He was safe there and no one was going to hurt him. He was found extremely thin and had not been able to find food for a while. The people that found him called our sister rescue SOS el arca in Playa del Carmen and they immediately came to secure him. He was taken into the shelter where he was taken into care and fully vetted. He is now ready to come to Canada and we are so happy for him.
Nello is a good boy who can live with other dogs and has been cat tested where he showed no interest however it would be on the discretion of the adopter to handle proper introductions slowly. He can also live with children 6+ with no issue. His leash skills are a work in progress and we always recommend training for all our dogs. He is food motivated which makes training easier for him.
Nello’s ideal home would be either a home with a completely fenced in yard or an apartment or condo since he is not vocal. He does require exercise and would love to go on adventures since he has never been able to really live a full life ever. He is house trained, crate trained and would love nothing more than to have a loving family of his home.

All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heartworm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.
