My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Douglas is a sweet 2 yr old Great Dane mix looking for a very special home. His owner had to move cross country due to an emergency, and he is in the care of a friend who loves him but cannot keep him due to his size and his needs. It’s important to note that he has previously exhibited reactive behaviors towards other dogs or people, so he needs a home that is willing to work with him. Currently he is improving! He is goofy, sweet, intelligent, cuddly and energetic.

He smart & can be prone to boredom behaviors, so he would do well with lots of activity. He can be a great hiking companion but is also content to nap beside you; he needs intellectual stimulation like puzzles and tasks more than he needs to get tired out with walks.

His perfect owner would be an experienced owner of large breed & reactive dogs, who has a lot of time & patience to dedicate to him, ideally home a lot Maybe you have land where he can run. He should be the only dog, at least for now. No kids please.
