Introducing Rory from the Gilmore Girls!
A good samaritan took in a female pup off the streets of Cleveland, TX. It turns out this pup, Lorelai Gilmore, was pregnant. Rory was born on 10/13/22. The Good Samaritan reached out for assistance. Straight Outta Texas stepped up and took in both mom and pup.
Lorelai will need to be in the rescue for a bit. She needs to be spayed and is heartworm positive. Straight Outta Texas will be providing the necessary medical care she needs.
Rory is a 6 week old, female, black lab mix puppy. She is a super sweet pup that enjoys playing with the other pups in her foster home.
Rory is currently in a loving foster home in Texas and is currently available for adoption in CT, ME, NH, VT, NY, or NJ.

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, Adopt a Pet and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue and veterinary care of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes. The transport fee is an additional $206.89.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
