Lulu is a 2.5 yr old Spaniel Mix: Stabyhound, French Brittany from working lines and Field Spaniel but of course this is just our guess of this cutie, coming in at 17 inch high muscled frame and weighing 43 lbs. She is a polished diamond, who can thrive further in her gold home. This dog lives in TX but can be transported to her perfect OH area home, you will not meet her until we send her after deciding it was a perfect fit. She has learned so much, and enjoys fun engagement from her foster parents and foster pup. She was dumped in a Houston subdivision w large nipples, probable a new momma dog but no puppies were found. Lulu had been very fearful of what anyone wanted from her, but that quickly changed when her foster mom was bathing her and brushing her teeth; giving her fresh meals; and a whole home that she was included in. Lulu loves her fast paced daily walks and knows it is a job-walking with distractions is still new training for her. She needs slow introductions to dogs however learning that dogs are fun and safe she, loves going over for her weekly play dates with a larger pack but she can still be a little bossy and no small dogs. Lulu would do well with a confident owner; continued teaching; activities and learning more. She knows a lot of commands; loves to forage in a fun yard w her foster sister; and has really learned to play ball and tugging w her foster dad or foster sister. She didn't know how to do any of this! Lulu enjoys outings at the farmers market while charming all the people as she is very food motivated. Lulu also loves car rides; you can brush her and her teeth and you can probably paint her nails- she just loves being with her family and pleasing. She is good with calm children and enjoys active companionship. With activity given for the work day she settles in easily. An ideal home for Lulu: a medium size fun yard w a 5 foot fence; a confident owner she can continue to learn more with; she would love to have a fun sibling or best friend and her human as her cuddle bug; lots of walks, ball and training time. She is a fast learner and loves a good routine. Lulu is up to date on vaccines; micro chipped to rescue and adopter; house trained; crate trained if needed her adoption donation is $440 includes her travel, documents to travel and testing. There is an application to adopt and home visit.
