Discarded on a rural road, Duke has been at the rescue over 2 years with very little interest in him and we don’t know why. He’s not great with cats but that shouldn’t keep him from getting the furever home he deserves. Part of his adoption fee has been sponsored by a donor. If you want a partner out in the yard while you’re working on projects, Duke is your man! He’s also ready for games or being out on a trail. Very good on a leash, he won’t stray far from you but does enjoy a little longer lead to explore. He would do well with an active family or individual, kids would be welcome. He prefers female dogs to play but has no problem being the only pet. He loves car or pickup rides, very intelligent, affectionate and enjoys his quiet time cuddled up with you when playtime is over.
