Backstory:
Toffee was rescued from Northern Manitoba with his mom, Curly. They adore each other and we are hoping whoever adopts each of them will reunite them for playdates.

Foster Comments:

Toffee is such a special pup. Currently he is going through crate, leash, house, and commands training. He learns very quickly - in 1 day he learned sit! He is very good motivated and responds well to using treats/food with positive reinforcement. He has been great with my children (ages 8 & 10). I find him to be very gentle, playful, and affectionate. He is relaxing more and more each day.

He loves being outside and would do really well with a fenced in yard so he can run freely… he smiles when he runs! He’s learning the leash and is a pup when it comes to a tug of war! He likes to chew so satisfying that with toys/ bones will be important to avoid destructive behaviour.

He is house training well. Only a few accidents in the house and has been consistently going outside to pee/poo.
He loves his crate. We use treats as his sign to go in and he will protest a bit before he falls asleep. Once asleep he is so peaceful. He has done well with sleeping in the crate over night for a period of approximately 6 hours.

He doesn't bark much. However, when he sees another dog he barks (it's actually quite low and big for such a small guy!). He howls from time to time if wants to get your attention... I think that's the husky in him. He is very chill and has a spunk about him during his playful times. He will make an amazing addition to any family he joins.
