My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gorgeous girl looking for an active partner. I am currently looking to settle down with my life partner. I am always on the go, so couch potatoes, do not apply. I am a smart girl who knows what she wants, I love to exercise, so another fitness nut would be ideal. I love long walks, and love to cuddle and snuggle after a hard workout. I am playful and loving and an all around good catch! Hi I am Pickles. 1.5 year old Dutch shepherd mix.

Pickles enjoys playing with dogs her size and larger but does not do well with cats or small dogs. She does best with calmer dogs as she is a high energy dog and will need continued socialization and training.  She will make a wonderful addition for a lucky active family with older kids because of her energy!

Pickles's adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, vaccinations, and microchip. If you want to meet Pickles fill out an adoption application at www.pawprinthearts.com.

Go meet their pets

We hold adoption events locally. Some of our dogs are in boarding facilities others are in foster homes.

More about this rescue

We save animals from high kill county animal shelters that were ready to be euthanized, or on the high risk report. We find them foster homes locally where they have the opportunity of finding their forever home.
