My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

*If you are interested in being considered for this dog, please be sure to complete an application directly on our website, www.hoofwoofmeow.org - not through a 3rd party service.**

Sally is a 3-year-old, 65 lb. Bulldog, Pitbull Terrier mix pup with the perfect blend of playful energy and laid-back charm. Sally is your ultimate play and nap partner rolled into one. While she may take a little time to warm up to new surroundings, once she's settled in, she's a loyal companion for life. Whether it's romping around the yard or snuggling up for a cozy nap on the couch, Sally is always up for some quality time with her favorite humans. She has also done great with resident pups and foster puppies that mistake her for a chew toy. Get ready to welcome this lovable pup into your heart and home! Sally is in a foster home with kids 16+ years old.

Sally’s adoption fee is $350 - which includes core vaccinations (age appropriate), microchip & completed spay.   *Hoof Woof & Meow Animal Rescue presents the information in these bios based on our foster observations and any information presented to us regarding prior living conditions, breed specifications. While we aim to be as accurate as possible, each animal is individual and their behaviors and personalities can change in different surroundings.  HWMAR holds no guarantees to personality, behavior or breed*   Please review our adoption process & complete an application on our website -  www.hoofwoofmeow.org/adoption   We adopt within 150 mile radius of Elgin, IL **We are a 100% volunteer rescue.  All of our dogs are in Foster Homes**Submission of an application does not guarantee adoption of any specific animal as they may have applications pending or might not be the right match for you**

Go meet their pets

Our rescue is foster based, therefore you will need to make an appointment to visit with any of our animals that are available for adoption.
Most of our adoptable animals come from high kill shelters. Occasionally we are given specific breed information on the animals, but more often, we have to make an educated guess as to breed or mixture based on size, color and physical characteristics.
