Bandito has been on quite the journey with us, so much so, he’s earned the title of one of our longest-staying residents, with a total of 360 days at the adoption center .
When he first arrived, he was skin-and-bones, a pup life had not been kind to. Today? Let’s just say this boy has never missed a snack. He’s a plump, doughy loaf who has perfected the art of curling up for maximum snuggle impact.
Bandito is looking for peace ???. His ideal home is quiet, steady, and just for him, no other pets, no chaos. He’s not built for lots of comings and goings or a revolving door of visitors. Fast movements and unexpected changes can throw him off, so calm consistency is the magic ingredient in his recipe for perfect.
When Bandito feels safe, he blossoms into the affectionate, goofy boy we know and love. He walks well, soaks up attention from his favorite people, and has a heart that’s been waiting a long time for the right match.
We’ve posted him, dressed him up, taken him on adventures, and showed him off as much as we can, and still, no one has ever come just to meet him.
That’s the heartbreak Because behind all the posts and pictures is a dog who’s been waiting longer than most... and who deserves someone willing to walk through the door just for him.
Bandito is an 8-year-old, 89 pound, neutered male pup who has been in and out of our care since fall of 2022.
