Hi there! My name is Pogo. I originally came into Macomb County Animal Control to be TNR (trap-neuter-release), but the staff saw I was severely injured. Thankfully they were able to get me the urgent help I needed and discovered I had nerve damage from an unknown incident. Unfortunately, the nerve damage was too great, so my leg was amputated.

Since then I have been in a medical foster home. I have become quite the snuggler! I prefer to sleep on your lap or in your arms. I`ll make muffins next to you while laying on a blanket. And don`t feel bad for me, I move just fine on three legs! I get around great.

You can come meet me at Macomb County Animal Control 21417 Dunham Rd., Clinton Twp Monday thru Friday 10am to 4pm! We will also be open Saturday 12/3 & Saturday 12/10 from 10am to 2pm.
