Hi, my name is Melody. I am a 2 year old, 35 lb Silver Beige Goldendoodle. I am underweight and need to put on a few pounds. When I came into the rescue, I was matted and covered in pine shavings. I had to be cleaned up and shaved down.
I am a little shy upon first meet because I wasn't properly cared for but I am incredibly sweet. I am learning what it's like to be loved and in a home so sometimes new things scare me. For example, I had never been up stairs before or in a bed before, so both made me nervous but I am adapting!
I am dog friendly and such a good girl.
I am a great girl and I would absolutely love to find my forever home. I have not been around children or cats - I wouldn't be a good match for young kids due to being shy. I am crate-trained and working on house-training. I am very good for grooming and will need someone who is able to afford and take care of frequent grooms so I do not get matted. I will also need someone who will brush me.
Requirements:
- Another dog for me to learn from and follow
- A fenced in yard (I am not comfortable enough on leash nor do I potty on leash)
