Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We found Peanut at a speedway in western Maryland when she was only 3 months old. She was caged up with her mother but left out in the cold overnight, her water frozen over. After the human society for initial exams and vaccinations, we chose to adopt her because my son had fallen in love with her. Through puppyhood, we housetrained her and she loves to wrestle with our older dog all day long. She is loving and snuggly with our young boys, however, we noticed she was chasing and nipping at them when they were playing. Her DNA test shows mostly an Australian cattle dog, which explains the herding of the children, mixed with a labrador retriever. She is still young, so she has a long, fun life ahead of her. Unfortunately, our boys have not been able to play without her intervening, even through behavioral approaches, and we are expecting another child. She would thrive with an open field and older children or young adults and deserves that!
