Hi, I'm Ace, a handsome black and white Great Dane and lab mix. I'm about one and a half years old, 94 pounds, and neutered. I'm looking for a loving and patient family who can give me the home I deserve.
I was picked up off the street in Memphis in August 2022 with my mom and siblings. I'm healthy, chipped, and vaccinated. I'm also receiving heartworm treatment, which will be complete in early March 2024. I will be ready for adoption once my treatment is complete. I can’t wait!
I have a smooth and shiny coat, webbed feet, perfect white teeth, and beautiful brown eyes. I'm a big boy with a big personality. I'm very friendly with people and dogs, but I can be a bit wary of strangers and little kids. I need some time to warm up to new people, and I prefer older kids who can respect my space and size. I have not been cat tested but I can be if you’d like.
I'm house broken and crate trained, and I love going for walks. I'm also food and treat motivated, so you can easily teach me new tricks. I have a naturally well-regulated appetite, and I won't overeat. I do love watermelon, though. It's my favorite snack.
I'm a playful and energetic dog who likes tug of war, chasing butterflies, and being chased. I also enjoy getting belly rubs, but I'm not super cuddly. I'm left-pawed, by the way. I'm a destroyer of soft toys, so I need hard toys, bones, horns, and the like to keep me entertained.
I'm currently in foster care in Fayetteville, NC, but I can travel to nearby states for the right family. I'm ready to find my forever home and reach my full potential. If you think you're the one for me, please apply. You must be 21 or older to do so. I can't wait to meet you!

Our Mission
Operation Save A Shelter Dog is a foster based, IRS-recognized 501c(3) rescue whose mission is to work with shelters on the East Coast by saving dogs at high risk of euthanasia or that have little hope of adoption in their current condition. Not only is it our goal to find furever homes for our dogs, but also to educate the public on the importance of spaying, neutering, vaccinating and providing preventative care for their pets.
