My story

DOB:: 4/19/2022

Meet adorable bonded pair, Sonic and Kiana!  Sonic is a two-year-old male.  He was a stray that was rescued when the lady who'd been feeding him noticed he was injured one day.  She had him treated and provided him a foster home where he settled in nicely, although he was still a little shy.  Enter Kiana!  This sweet black and white girl was found all alone in a parking lot and was lucky enough to be found by Sonic's foster mom.  She got her fully vetted, brought Kiana home and the two quickly built a close friendship that has really brought Sonic out of his shell.  These two do everything together and love each other so much that they will need to be adopted together.  Their future family couldn't get a better pair.  They are cuddly, playful, and obviously adorable.

Sonic was treated a while back for urinary crystals, from which he has fully recovered.  Just to make sure he stays the perfectly healthy boy he is, his diet is wet food only and he takes a supplement to ensure his urinary health.  One look at him and Kiana chasing each other around and anyone can see that Sonic is a totally normal young cat.  These two sweet kitties are ready to go home together to their furever home.

If you are interested in learning more about these kitties or in adopting them, please click here to email their foster parent.

If you are unable to send an email to the foster parent through the link included above, please contact us and let us know what kitty you're interested in.  You may also fill out our adoption questionnaire to speed up the screening process.  Be sure to name the cat in the CAT PREFERENCE field at the beginning of the questionnaire. If the above links aren't live, our contact form and questionnaire are available on our website at www.kittenrescue.org.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 1,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
