Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Lexi! I have the most loving eyes and cutest freckles on my ears. I had a rough start to life and the rescue doesn’t know much about my past. I ended up in a very rural shelter in NC with a litter of puppies who unfortunately all passed in the shelter before I was rescued. I am house trained and crate trained. I’m not destructive when left alone but I do like to have a safe space to retreat to. I love to lounge on the top of a couch, just like a cat! I walk well on leash and know some basic commands. I am food motivated and love toys! My ideal family would have a fenced yard and at least one other dog. I love to play with other dogs and I get along with every dog I have ever met! I would not do well in a home with younger kids as I am timid and they would scare me. I can be slow to warm up to strangers because of my past, but I am a very affectionate and silly girl with my trusted people. I am not aggressive. I just need a patient owner who will give me time to settle in. I am currently being fostered in the Pittsburgh area, but I can be transported to an approved adopter. I hope to meet you soon!
