My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucius is a one-person type of dog. He will find his person and bond hard with them. He does better with women than men and would not do well in a male only home. He does push buttons and tries to see what he can get away with, so somebody who is firm, consistent, and a good guiding leader would be best for him. Dachshund experience would be preferred. He doesn't like living with young kids. He did not do well around toddlers. He previously lived with older kids. He does fine with respectful kids 3+ for short periods of time. He does fine with all dogs. He can be a bit bossy though so might not do well living with smaller dogs. He hasn't shown aggression toward the smaller dogs he has been around for short periods of time. He's done great with the large breed dogs he's been around. He's had a lot of stress over the last couple weeks and has been bounced around, so he needs some work on his potty training.
