My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Banks is one of the Mighty Ducks litter that came into rescue after living the first 3 months of their lives in a pen outside. They were underweight and had never had vet care, but now they are fat and happy and ready for homes of their own!

Banks is the shy one of the bunch, and he will need someone willing to be patient and calm to help build his confidence and show him all the great things a dog can see and do! He loves hikes with his brothers, and does great with other dogs after his initial reservations are overcome (aka slow, calm introductions and he will do just fine!). He is also the sweetest and snuggliest little boy, and loves couch snuggles and body rubs and most especially back scratches!

I am watching Banks get braver every day, and even when something makes him nervous, he is quick to get over it. He has the best smile that he does when he gets excited to see someone, and should do fine with kitties and kids as long as intros are quiet and calm. He has been given the thumbs up by the vet, though he does have a (very adorable) underbite that the vet said needs to be checked now and then as he grows to make sure his lower canines don't encroach on his upper gums at all.
