My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm JR, and despite my captivating appearance and beautiful heart, I haven't garnered any interest throughout my full year at the shelter. I arrived at the SPCA as a cruelty case in December 2022. Since then, each passing moment has been filled with a persistent longing for the day that I'll find my way into a loving family. Although my heart now bears a tinge a sadness as my dream of being adopted hasn't materialized yet, I refuse to give up hope.

And so, I continue to wait for that special someone who will love me for the gentle, wise, zen, and sweet being that I am. I continue to wait for the warmth of a real home. If you would like to be the angel of a human to adopt me, please contact the shelter or stop in in person to apply. I am willing to bet that we're a match made in heaven and I cannot wait to meet you.

JR finds a tremendous amount of happiness and comfort in other cats and would be best suited for a home with another feline. JR would also love a home on the quiet side without any dogs.
