I'm JR, and despite my captivating appearance and beautiful heart, I haven't garnered any interest throughout my full year at the shelter. I arrived at the SPCA as a cruelty case in December 2022. Since then, each passing moment has been filled with a persistent longing for the day that I'll find my way into a loving family. Although my heart now bears a tinge a sadness as my dream of being adopted hasn't materialized yet, I refuse to give up hope.
And so, I continue to wait for that special someone who will love me for the gentle, wise, zen, and sweet being that I am. I continue to wait for the warmth of a real home. Our adoption process includes reference checks, landlord approval, and an adoption contract.
All dogs and cats are spayed or neutered before they leave the shelter.
The adoption fee for a dog is $175.00 and puppies are $225.00, which includes the spay or neuter and all required canine immunizations, microchipping, wormer and flea treatment.
The adoption fee for an Adult Cat is $75.00 which includes the spay or neuter, all required feline immunizations and testing for FeLV and FIV, microchipping, plus wormer and flea treatment. The adoption fee for Kittens is $100.00.
