Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I’m Panther, and I’ve been waiting for a home for so long, I often wonder if the world forgot I’m here.
For nearly two years, I’ve watched the seasons change from the same quiet corner of the shelter. I perch in my favorite spot by the window, where the sun warms my fur and I can quietly observe. People walk past me every day. Some don’t even glance in my direction. Others pause, smile, but then keep walking towards other kitties. I’ve never had it in me to compete for attention. I wouldn’t know how.
They call me a ‘wallflower,’ which just means that I’m gentle and reserved. I never leap into laps or vocalize my presence. But if you sit with me long enough—and your energy feels kind—you’ll notice a soft, soulful, and steady gaze settling on you. It’s my way of saying that I long for a real connection with someone who will sit beside me without asking me to be anything more than I am.
So though I seem still, inside me lives a river of love just waiting to pour out for the right person. With time and trust, I know that I could build something beautiful and priceless with my forever human—a lasting friendship rooted in understanding compassion.
Could you be the one I’ve been dreaming of all this while? Please come visit me. Let me show you the kind of bond that grows slowly, but deeply.
