Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zai urgently needs a home! For months, Zai got to bask in the sunlight coming through the windows of his temporary home. He got to nap on the couch and get attention whenever he wanted. This loving, clean home environment instantly improved his overall health because Zai is diabetic. Unfortunately, Zai is now back at Abandoned Pet Rescue because his foster family is moving out of state. Zai needs someone who has experience with a cat who has medical needs or someone who is willing to learn! We have clinic staff that cat teach you his daily needs and show you how good he is for his medication. Zai is apart of our Medical Adoption Program so APR provides all his supplies and medical care for life. Zai is a gentle, affectionate cat that deserves to spend his golden years napping by a warm window and watching the birds fly by. He loves playing with his wand and catnip toys so he still has some kitten energy left in him. If you can open your home and heart to Zai please complete an adoption application at AbandonedPetRescue.org.
Zai is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and ready for adoption at Abandoned Pet Rescue - a no-kill shelter in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. To meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
