Hilo is the kind of guy that will happily jump into your purse for any adventure and is sure to bring lots of love into your life.
A bright ray of sunshine, this well trained boy learns quickly and follows commands. He’s a little on the vocal side, and as his new BFF, be prepared to actively listen to his rants and raves!
This handsome fellow gets along with other dogs, and takes time to warm up with strangers. He’s incredibly loyal and loving once he knows you’re his family. He’ll certainly find ways to amuse you, like wrapping himself up in his blanket like a cozy taquito. Besides snuggle time, dog friendly treats and plush toys are his next favorites.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date with vaccines and have been microchipped.

Rescue the Underdog is small group of volunteers working in the San Francisco Bay Area. We rescue dogs that would otherwise be euthanized in high kill Central Valley shelters and bring them to the Bay Area where they are placed in loving, lasting homes.
