My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome pupper is named Chuy!

Chuy is an approxamately 1 year old black Lab mix and weighs about 40 lbs.

Chuy is a calm, patient, happy pup! He and his four sisters were found abandoned in Jalisco, Mexico. Together they were taken in by the Ranch Chapala shelter and all are remarkably well-adjusted. Chuy, the only boy in the bunch, is playful and confident. He is also more than adorable with his cute little white chin, bright black eyes, and perky ears. Chuy loves chasing toys and bouncing around joyfully with both playmates and playthings! He also adores snuggling with humans and is curious, not timid at all. He would looove a family to play with and call his own! Chuy is super smart and trainable - he is highly food-motivated and learned basic commands very quickly. He's also great on the leash. With his friendly personality and sweet demeanor, this social and self-assured doggy will be a wonderful family companion!
