My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful Zoe is looking for her forever home!  She arrived to BC on Jan 21 and is being fostered in Chilliwack.

Zoe is a 4 year old Labrador Retriever mix, weighing approx 40 lbs. She came to us from a rescue shelter in the Lake Chapala area of Mexico.

Zoe has all the wonderful traits you’d expect in a Lab! Loveable, playful, smart, inquisitive, loyal, and people-oriented. She really is everything you could ask for in a furry family member

Zoe has a friendly and easy going personality. She looooves to have her belly rubbed and basks in any kind of affection from her humans. She is gentle in her interactions with people and kids. Zoe is also good with other dogs so she’d do well with a doggy sibling in the home. At her current foster home,  Zoe spends time with the resident cats and even snuggles next to them on the couch. No chasing or aggression of any kind.

Zoe is curious about her surroundings, gathering information with her nose like a diligent doggy reporter! During walks, she loves to scope out everything and take in all the sights. Zoe will love the beautiful trails, lakes and mountains in BC - a world of endless exploration! She is very good on leash and isn’t an excessive barker.

Zoe is also an intelligent girl, V ery responsive to training. This is another great hallmark of the Lab breed, always keen to learn and please their people. Zoe is almost fully outdoor potty trainied and knows how to use a pee pad as well. She's a quick study and it doesn't take her long to pick up new skills.

VETTING: Zoe is a healthy, active doggy with no known medical issues. She is spayed fully vaccinated  dewormed  and flea/tick treated  Zoe has been tested for heartworm, Lyme disease, Ehrlichia, and anaplasma - all negative.

If Zoe sounds like your perfect companion, please submit an adoption application and we can arrange a meet-and-greet.

**PLEASE NOTE: Zoe is currently fostered in Chilliwack.**
