If for any reason the adoption does not work out, you are required to return the dog to Route 66 Pet Rescue.
Adoption steps
- Meet the Pet
- Submit an online application or visit PetsMart at 5418 E 41st St, Tulsa, OK 74135 any Saturday between 11am and 3pm to meet dogs.
- Submit Application
- Online or at adoption event any Saturday at PetsMart located at 5418 E 41st St, Tulsa, OK 74135.
- Approve Application
- We do vet checks to verify all current pets are up to date on vaccinations. We require dogs are kept on heartworm prevention.
- Home Check
- Meet and Greet with any existing pets and check home environment for safety concerns. We check for adequate fencing around yard.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Pay Fee
- Adoption fee is $150
