My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Waived fee! 1 Year Old Snowdrop is a sweet, playful, and energetic furry companion currently seeking a forever home! Snowdrop thrives on fun and loves indulging in activities like playing with toys, going on long walks, and snuggling up on the couch. Her high energy levels keep her enthusiasm for life shining bright. Snowdrop is motivated by treats and is a fast learner, already mastering commands like sit and heel. Snowdrop was fostered with other dogs previously, on walks she can be reactive and scared of loud trucks and noises, so would probably do best in a quieter neighborhood or suburban environment! Snowdrop is house and crate trained. She's a loving and fun companion who is looking for a a patient and experienced household willing to work on her manners, leash reactivity, and socializatio.. An ideal home for medium size - 50lb Snow, would likely include active owners who can devote time to Snwodropws ongoing training as she grows! She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

The first step of the adoption process is to complete an adoption application in full at www.rescuecity.nyc. All of our dogs are in foster homes throughout the city. We do not have a physical location where we keep dogs.

More about this rescue

Rescue City is a no-kill, non-profit1 pet rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption organization. Our team of dedicated volunteers is based in Brooklyn, NY and serves the NYC metro and surrounding areas.

Our organization’s motto is: There’s a person for every dog, and there’s a dog for every person…it’s just a matter of time. This applies whether you are looking to adopt a pet, or would like to make a positive impact on the lives of animals. At Rescue City we believe it is our moral responsibility to defend the lives of abused, abandoned, and neglected animals.
We take on helpless stray and surrendered animals, as well as those at the top of the euthanasia list at local and international shelters. We place our rescues in nurturing foster homes while they rebuild their lives through physical and mental rehabilitation. Following a thorough – but hassle free – adoption process, our Rescues are placed in loving, responsible, and committed permanent homes. Every rescue is fully vetted and altered, micro-chipped, and vaccinated upon adoption. Our commitment to our rescues does not stop once the adoption paperwork is signed. We stress the importance of responsible pet ownership, and we educate our Fosters, Adopters, and community on what it means to be a good pet owner.
