My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Courtesy Post*

Hello, I'm Petra! I'm a seasoned mama kitty, who was rescued as a community cat; I'm a mother and grandmother to four generations underneath me. I was very scared and unapproachable when I was first rescued, but after some time, with feedings, human interaction and extra love, I now seek out pets and scratch sessions! My favorite scratch spots are the top of my head and behind my ears.

I have been bunking up with two of my descendants, with whom I get along with fine, but I do not like dogs. I would fit best in a quiet, low activity home, where I can live out the rest of my years calm, relaxed and in comfort. I do ok with kids, but I do like my space and can only tolerate so much attention; otherwise I'm a very loving, gentle lady and am ready for a loving forever home!

*Courtesy posting is a service RCHS provides to our community members who need to rehome an animal. This animal is not with RCHS and all information is provided by the animal's current guardian.
