Boulder is ready to find his forever home! He is being fostered in Soddy Daisy, TN.
Boulder is a 3 year old red merle Australian Shepherd weighing approx 45 lbs. His appearance is very unique with his red merle coat, his beautiful blue eyes and those ears that always stand up.
Boulder has an abundance of energy that goes right along with his appearance! He will need an active home and someone who can show him guidance. He knows basic commands such as sit, wait and fetch. He will fetch and bring it back all day long!
Boulder loves attention but needs a confident owner who will work with him on manners. He gets along good with other dogs, it will just need to be a dog that he doesn't feel he has to be in competition with. Also, because of his energy level, a home without small children and no cats would suit him best. A fenced in yard is also highly recommended. We don't feel Boulder would do well with apartment living.
He is neutered, current on all vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. He is house trained and crate trained. Boulder would love nothing more than to find an active home where his new person has quality time to spend with him, walking, hiking, outings, etc...He can't wait to see where his next journey takes him.
