Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pompeii loves people and loves her belly to be rubbed.
I like to say that Pompeii adopted us when we first moved to our new home in Maryland in 2015. She started showing up at our house about a week after we arrived. She was less than 6 months old and had been living on the streets. We welcomed Pompeii in but she remained an indoor/outdoor cat. She would come and go as she pleased... going to the door and meowing when she was ready to be free. We eventually rescued two additional cats, both males, and she would have nothing to go with them.
Fast forward to 2022... in preparation for our move to Missouri, we litter-trained Pompeii and brought her into the house full-time. She was able to adapt nicely to living indoors but she has been constantly at odds with the other two cats. She is unhappy.
This is devastating but we know that she needs to be in a home where she is the only cat. We do not want to see her unhappy.
