Adoption Fee: $225 includes 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness.

Maple was adopted as a puppy and then returned to us as her human Mom went thru post partum depression and was not up to work with her jumping on small humans.

Maple is truly the sweetest girl. She does so great with other dogs. She is housebroken and crate trained. Very well behaved in the home. Maple loves catching treats! She really loves going for car rides. Maple truly wants to be part of the family. We are working with her on jumping up on people. Maple really wants to please her humans so she is learning every day. Maple was really strong on her leash walking so a volunteer bought her a no pull collar that has worked miracles!!!! She loves to go for walks and would be a great running or jogging buddy. Maple knows several commands. She would make most any family a great companion.

Maple has been spayed, heartworm tested negative, micro chipped and she is up to date on her vaccinations. There is a 2 week trial period to give you the chance to know if she will be a good fit for your family.

Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient. You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
