Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lonnie and Woofy were brought to the kennel and abandoned (never picked up) in the fall of 2022.*** Woofgang has been adopted . Lonnie is a 5 year old pit bull who is a happy, energetic guy who weighs around 65 pounds. He likes everyone he has met. He is a gentleman in the tub , and enjoys going for walks. He is good with other dogs, but we have not seen him around cats or kids. He is housebroken and crate trained.

Additional adoption info

The first step in Adopting one of our animals is to fill out an application on our website. Once approved to adopt we will set up a meet and greet, so any current household animals, family (kids) can all meet with the new foster animal. Our fees are based upon the age of the animal and the medical involved. Dog fees range from $200.00 - $400.00
We also have kittens and their fee is $120.00

We do require all adopters to sign a contract and sign our medical documentation sheet.

More about this rescue

AJ's Search and Rescue Is an animal rescue which was founding in Sept 2016. The rescue is named after our founders first "Foster Failure". Angela aka AJ, fostered over 140 dogs through a previous organization, which lead her to adopting (foster failing) her 125 foster dog (Serchee).

As time went on AJ decided it was time to start yet another business and this time it was a non-profit 501c3 animal rescue. All animals that come through our organization are in foster homes, which allows a new adopter to know more about the animals in many aspects.

Any and all donations and adoption fees go towards proper medical care and feeding all our animals.

We strive to get animals off the streets and into new homes so they can live a wonderful life.
