My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOSTER/ADOPT STRONGHEART

*courtesy post for the amazing staff who saved his life

This 5 year old baby is a victim of abuse

He was dropped off at Ohana veterinary clinic to be euthanized by his “owners”.  It was all admitted to the vet that the husband of the household was an abusive alcoholic and would come home and act aggressive toward him and the wife. He would kick this sweet boy repeatedly. The wife said that when her husband would beat her, Strongheart would try to protect her…leading to him getting the brunt of the husband’s rage.  Anytime the husband would go near him, he would kick him.

She admitted all of this at the vet.

The husband insisted on having her bring him in to be euthanized but the staff over at Ohana refused to do so and instead they had the owners sign over rights to them. There’s no way this boy’s story can end here.

Humans who were supposed to protect and love him did the opposite.

This is what the staff at Ohana say about him
“He’s the best boy in the world! Super obedient, loves walks, and affection. However, he’s had so much built up anxiety being in the cage and isn’t doing well in there. He started chewing on himself, constant crying, and is losing weight from depression.
But can you blame him? He’s wondering why he’s in a cage now.”

Let’s please find this boy a home or a foster immediately

More about this rescue

The Animal Rescue Mission(ARM) was created to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home unwanted animals while educating the public on how to provide a safer, happier world for all animals. Ensuring that every formerly homeless, abused, and neglected animal receives the rehabilitation they need and then be matched with a permanent loving home is our goal.
