My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thor - German Shepherd Bio:

Thor is a 7 year old, male, German Shepherd who has had a rough life of hardships and misunderstandings. He was listed as a red zone case and only had a couple of days till euthanasia. Thor does have a bite history, but with professional training, I was able to provide an outlet for his herding and working traits. He is true to his shepherd genetics!

Thor is a playful and affectionate boy. He is energetic, attentive, and always happy to please. Thor’s temperament and characteristics are true to his German Shepherd breed! He enjoys a good game of  fetch, chase, or tug of war. His favorite toys are anything squeaky, crinkly, and bouncy. He is great at catching pesky flies and June beetles too!

Thor will thrive with an experienced owner that can provide the consistent training, structure and outlets that his breed craves. He would do great in a home as a single pet. Thor is capable of living with another dog, with a proper introduction and continued training.

Thor is crate trained and potty trained. He knows his basic commands: sit, stay, come, down, wait, out, no. He loves riding in the car, especially if it’s a drive out to In-N-Out for a special puppy patty treat!

More about this rescue

The Animal Rescue Mission(ARM) was created to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home unwanted animals while educating the public on how to provide a safer, happier world for all animals. Ensuring that every formerly homeless, abused, and neglected animal receives the rehabilitation they need and then be matched with a permanent loving home is our goal.
