Hi there! My name is Danny, I am a 6 year old male Jindo mix that weighs 17 kg (37 lbs) and stands 22 inches high. I was rescued from an animal hoarder's rooftop house in Busan, Korea with 8 other dogs in 2018. We were all suffering from a very bad and painful skin disease when we were rescued by some awesome people. I regained my health, but so far, no one has stepped forward to make me their forever dog and I have now been waiting almost 5 years. Is my forever home with you?

When I was briefly introduced to a cat, I was not interested in it at all. Even when I saw a cat on my walk, there was no inclination to chase it, so my prey drive is probably pretty low.
My energy level is moderate, I love to go for walks and am a confident boy. I actively explore new places and walk tall and proud. I have not shown any aggression. While my appetite is high, there has been no resource guarding towards humans. No signs of separation anxiety, I don't get car sick, and I am crate and house trained. I can possibly bark if someone comes to my home. As a result of my early abuse, I have severe dental abrasion and the pulp of many teeth is exposed. I am also missing one upper front tooth.

Basic training should be taken seriously and should begin within a few days after arrival. After your dog has settled in, check out courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.
