Bounce Animal Rescue Favorite!

Little Debbie is a darling older gal that is looking for a lap to retire on. She is kennel trained, house trained, knows how to use the dog door, and enjoys walks. Little Debbie is good with other dogs, preferring lower energy canine friends her size, and is good with cats. She is good with children but does not like to be handled rough so please, no young kids in the home. Debbie is a typical Chihuahua – brave, loyal, affectionate, and loves basking in the sun. Debbie has had MANY litters of puppies in the past and is ready to retire into a leisure life of snoozing in soft beds or a warm lap, snacking on tasty treats, soaking up the sun, and getting lots of belly rubs. She loves cuddling under your blanket to watch a movie or through the night. Little Debbie has a history of seizures. Fortunately, it’s successfully managed with twice daily oral medication. This medication is very cost effective, amounting to $41 per month. If you are looking for a lower energy lap dog, Little D would love to meet you!

Adoption Information:

Little Debbie is an 8-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-kill shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, 4DX tested, and spayed. Little Debbie has a history of seizures. Fortunately, it’s successfully managed with oral medication. This medication costs $41 a month. This dog is also tested with other dogs, kennel-trained, and housebroken. Little Debbie would do best in a home without young children. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home.

The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.

We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)

Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.

Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
