Tempura was a microchipped stray who spent over a month in the shelter which has caused him to be wary of his future. He would much prefer to spend the entirety of his day laid across his dad’s chest or snuggled under the blankets on your bed.
Tempura is a spicy 1 year old chihuahua mix who thinks he’s a cat and isn’t afraid to show it. If you are a single guy looking for an extremely low maintenance little buddy to take everywhere with you, Tempura is your dude. He will lay across your chest as you play video games for hours and never complain! He loves the car, playing fetch in the morning, and especially getting piggy back rides around the house. Always wanted the laid back qualities of a cat, but don't like cats? This guy is ready to be your right hand man. This dog sleeps 20 hours a day without a care in the world. Give him a comfy bed and let him tell you when he needs to take a potty break. He will even sleep across your lap on car rides!
Tempura is desperate to be best friends with the resident cats. His kitty foster siblings have other thoughts and like to bat him around, and he eats it up in hopes he will someday win them over. He puts on a tough face to show the bigger resident dog he has what it takes, but when it comes down to it, he just wants to be everyone’s friend, but an adopter with experience with Chihuahua's would be best!
