My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Petra and I am 3 years old. I was initially very scared at the shelter and meeting new people.

Luckily, I was rescued and am currently in boarding. My rescuers say I am sweet and fun and that I warm up quickly once I know I am safe with you, especially if I feel like I’m having fun. In particular, barking for treats! I love to get treats and I am longing to connect with someone who I can love and will help me build more confidence.

I love going on walks and exploring and sniffing my environment. I had no reactivity to my ward mates at the shelter and I recently met a small dog on a meet and greet and did well, so would likely do well in a house with another dog who is well balanced and can help me build my confidence after proper introductions.
