Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dusty is a super sweet senior girl who loves affection and scritches. She is also fairly mellow and prefers to hang out on her cat tree and watch the world go by (especially while soaking in the sun at the window). She is not super playful, and loud noises or fast movements tend to cause her to hide. She would prefer a quiet home, perhaps with another mellow kitty. She requires a prescription diet for urinary health (currently on Hills C/D Multicare Stress dry food and various urinary care wet foods) to prevent her from getting inflammation of the bladder which can cause further urinary issues. She does well on the special diet and has been cleared by a vet for adoption. Her breed and color best fits an American Shorthair Smoke (her fur is black with gray and white undertones), but we don't really know for sure. Dusty is good company, likes to stay close by. She’s well behaved, uses scratching post and does not scratch furniture.
Faithfully uses liter box, no accidents.
Not a picky eater, likes her dry food and wet food too.
She entertains herself by fetching a fuzzy ball “her prey”.
She like to sit next to her people, but is not a lap cat.
Likes being petted and scratched on the chin.
She sleeps in her own room, and does occasionally snore, but will cuddle in bed.
She’s a sweetie.
Cats adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv/FIV and they are microchipped prior to adoption. Typical Adult cat adoption donations are $150, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks. Southern California residents only, we do not adopt to residents not within driving distance of our adoption centers.
