Meet Zander: a majestic 3 year old, male, Bully/Lab mixed breed in search of a loving forever home. This handsome boy is looking for a home with children 12+ where he can be the only pet. He is very sweet but very strong. He loves spending time outdoors and is working on his leash skills. He is a very strong boy and will need someone to work on his training/leash skills and use the proper harnesses when walking him. Zander is up to date on all his vaccinations.

Unfortunately, due to past issues with landlords/housing/insurance, a restricted breed policy is in place for Bully breed/Pit Bull type dogs. This means that you must own your home and provide proof of homeownership to adopt a Bully breed/Pit Bull dog or puppy. While we understand that this may be an inconvenience, it is necessary to help reduce the number of devastated dogs being returned. We apologize for the inconvenience.

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and full out an application completely. We have applications on site.
Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm, Thursday 12-2pm, Friday 12-2pm and Saturday 10am-2pm
2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord.
3, We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets.

Helpful reminders:
*We do not do same day adoptions.
*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in.
*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
