My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cotton was adopted out by us as a puppy and returned nearly a year later as his family had no time for him. They crated him for many hours at a time and as you may imagine, he is not a fan of crates!

He has been at a great in a home boarding facility for months now and has accepted the family who takes care of him. He is wary of strangers and will take a while to adjust and warm up to a new family. Cotton is playful- he loves water and is protective of his "people". He will do great in a home where someone has time and patience to win his trust! He is just over a year old and deserves a wonderful life after his rough start.

Cotton is playful when with other dogs who want to play. He knows not to interrupt conference calls and loves to settle down next to you when you're working from home. He also really enjoys being outside and being goofy. His ideal family would be an active family who will take him for hikes or to the dog park and who will love him. Cotton needs a bit of work on his walking on a leash but he is a smart guy and will learn quickly. He loves to be brushed and play in water! We're not 100% sure if he is potty trained as he spends a lot of time outside with his current foster in TX but it will be very easy to train him.

Cotton is about 1 1/2 years old, fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Because of his size and initial shyness, a home without little kids is preferred
