Meet Patrick
PATRICK
Specifics:
~ 9 year old Standard Dachshund mix boy
~ Low-Medium energy level, enjoys short walks and playtime but also loves his naps and snuggles
~ House & Crate Trained, non destructive
~ Walks very well on leash using a harness
~ No resource guarding and has very good manners
~ Can be extremely sweet and playful with excellent recall
~ Makes human friends easily (especially women) but not happy with other dogs
~ Very comfortable around cats
Medical:
~ Healthy, 30 lbs, neutered, vaccinated and UTD with parasite prevention
Favourite things:
~ daily walks and outdoor activities
~ toys, treats and hearing how smart and handsome he is!

~ A home in a rural or suburban setting which isn't too noisy or busy.
~ A home with a fully fenced yard.
~ A family who work from home or work alternate hours to ensure that Patrick wouldn't be left unattended for more than 5-6 hours per day. A reputable dog walker could also be an option if work hours are long.
~ A home without other dogs.
~ A home with or without dog-savvy cats.
~ A single individual or a couple without children. Patrick isn't comfortable in a crowd.
~ A family willing to commit to ensuring Patrick gets at least 2-3 short walks per day and a healthy balance of both mental and physical stimulation.
~ Someone with dog experience and preferrably someone with Dachshund knowledge, dedicated to continuing Patrick's education and providing regular rules and boundaries, utilizing force-free methods.*We offer training and counselling support for all of our Adoptables through our Pup Parent System with adoption.
