Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zuzu (female)
Breed: Pointer Mix
Age: 3-4 years
Weight: 50 lbs.
Good with dogs: Yes.
Good with cats: Yes
Good with kids: No
Energy level: Medium
Meet Zuzu! This sweet girl's favorite thing to do is play fetch and get 'pets'. She also loves to chew bones, to play with stuffed animals of all types, and to play tug-a-war. If she wants to play, she will drop toys to you so you can throw them for her. She is an excellent retriever and will bring you back what you throw.
Zuzu has previously attended a 3-week board and train and received high praise. She already knows the commands sit, lay down, stay, come, and will me(walk by your side). She walks well on the leash and doesn't pull. She has attended doggy day care and has always come home with excellent report cards. Zuzu learns new things quickly, especially if you are trading treats or games of tug for work.
Zuzu is housebroken and crate trained. She loves her crate so much she will often seek it out on her own to go lay down in it. She doesn't mind sleeping in it during the night either. All you need to say to her is "kennel up" and she will happily take her place inside of it. It's not surprising that Zuzu likes her crate bc, just like a true den animal, she also likes to burrow under soft blankets.
This quiet, never overly vocal, girl is looking for a calm & quiet home. She can be leery of men when she first meets them and may take some time to warm up.
If you would like more information on this smart girl, please contact Michelle at michelled@doubledogrescue.org.
