Barely to believe, but this handsome boy was abandoned on a cold night crying for help while sitting in front of a door in hope it would open if he cries loudly enough. It did not happen but a good Samaritan heard his plea for help and without hesitation scooped him up and MEW's journey being rescued is history.
No doubt that MEW was a former indoor cat as he settled in like a king and from the beginning let his foster Mom know that he is not an average rescue kitty but a cat-lebrity in the making. This fluffy ball of cuteness will steal your heart in no time with his striking orange fur that will make you want to pet him non-stop, white paws that make him look like he's wearing white tap shoes ready to dance, and a white belly that will make you want to tickle him until he purrs like a motorboat.
MEW is not just a pretty face, he is also a master of entertainment. He will keep you on your toes with his acrobatic moves, his love for cardboard boxes and his ability to turn any household object into a toy. He is a lover of adventures and will always be up for a game of hide and seek, just be careful not to hide too well, he might end up finding your secret stash of snacks. He loves to bang his 'stuffed kitty friend" around or any other toys that bounce and he can leap around and chase them in fullest delight.

He knows when he is "needed" and will accompany you in all your daily tasks with patience and purrfect co-worker skills if you work from home, so make room for a chair next to you and/or a spacious desk. But most of all, he is a mellow cuddle bug - soft and cosy to dive into - with his almost magical attitude to make sure you never feel alone. If you have fallen in love with one of our rescued animals, you need to fill out an application form. After approval, you can meet them in their foster homes. If you decide to give one (or) two of them a forever home and would like to adopt, a basic contract will need to be signed to adopt any of our cats.
We also ask for a donation to support our veterinarian expenses and to continue our rescue efforts.

We are an East-Harlem-based rescue group of volunteers committed beyond all odds to take stray cats and kittens off the street by Trap-Neuter-Release programs, to give them all veterinary care as needed, rehabilitate and foster them when needed, and get them ready to be adopted into forever homes. We also try to improve the lives of animals that suffer or are homeless by engaging our communities. We focus particular on animals that are "unwanted" but beautiful inside out - Come and visit and you will see how precious they are!
