My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET ANGEL ~ Angel is a a sweet German shepherd. Angel is approximately 2 years old and as sweet as can be. She’s a lover and very affectionate.
Angels Story - We (The rescues Founders) are a magnet to lost and abandon animals everywhere we go. When Angel was rescued, We were running personal errands, purchasing medical equipment for a relative on hospice in May 2022 when we noticed Angel hunkered down under a vehicle shaking, whale eyed and frightened. She was under the car directly in front of us at the building were we needed to be. We asked everyone in the nearby vicinity for an owner with no success. Angel has been with us for 8 months now. Angel has since been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and kiderized. We were technically full when Angel arrived, when that happens we have to take them to the shelter or send them to foster care. However, Angel was a special case. She was very reactive to the other dogs on arrival, meaning she was barking and doing the gsd grumbling at the other dogs. Angel would not have passed a social assessment at AC at that time. The concern being if she did not pass the shelter assessment, she would likely be euthanized. We felt her was likely fear based and after relaying that information to Animal control, we decided to would let her stay and hopefully work out her fear of other animals.
Angel is a German Shepherd which is a breed that can be very vocal. German shepherds are highly intelligent, loyal to the end, loving, great watch dogs and like to communicate. Angel plays with many dogs now and is happy and playful as long as they don’t try to “Alpha” her. Angel would do well in a home with kids (old enough to play with) and another dog (if it is an easy going dog). She is really good traveling in vehicles. She will sleep in a crate if needed without complaint. She is very loveable to all humans so far.
Angel would love a family that would love her back ?
If you believe Angel is your love match please send some information about yourselves and how Angel would spend her days with you along with a request for an adoption application to gooddogk9rescue@yahoo.com
Thank you, Good Dog K9 Rescue
