Cornelius (Born 12/4/2018) is a super sweet cat, who weighs 10 pounds. Quiet and affectionate, he will follow you around and loves to play with his toys. Cornelius does have to be on a special diet so that he does not form crystals in bladder and he really loves his special food!
We really appreciate that you want to give a shelter animal a home. The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904. The Vladimir Horowitz/Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center is a no-kill shelter. Our on-site clinic and staff of skilled Veterinarians looks after the health and well-being of every animal here. We also have a great adoption matchmaking team who will gladly take your profile and match you or your pet with just the right cat or dog companion. We start the process once you have submitted an application to us. Once a completed application is received, the HSNY Adoption Team will review it and we will contact you if we are going to take next steps.
