To start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html

Should our Adoption Coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss your application with you.

Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia).

Joy has been in foster care her whole life. Joy is sweet and loving and will seek out attention and ask to be pet. But it is a bit of a process with her.

Joy had a tough start so initially she has a bit of fear to overcome. Shy and fearful cats are overlooked all to often in rescue. If someone would give Joy a chance, you will see the wonderful cat she has blossomed into.

Joy is ready to find a family that will give her a bit of time to adjust to her new surroundings and who can offer her companionship that will help to boost her confidence.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Complete our no-obligation Adoption Application, which will be sent to our Adoption Coordinator for review.

2.
Interview

A HOM volunteer will reach out to you to discuss your application within 24-48 hours after an application has been submitted.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If approved, you sign a HOM Adoption Contract where you agree to provide a safe healthy environment & yearly wellness visits from your vet

4.
Pay Fee

Adoption Fees: Kittens up to six months $125 or 2 for $200 Kittens over six months $100 or 2 for $250 Cats one year or older $50

Additional adoption info

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, 1st vaccination, worming, and testing for FIV and Feline leukemia virus (FeLV).
