My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little pocket pittie is Baby. She is tiny but mighty. She has never met a stranger and loves all people! Baby does great with the other dogs in her foster home. She is however NOT good with cats. Baby is house and crate trained. She was heartworm positive when she came into the rescue but was treated. She is spayed, UTD on all vaccines and microchipped. All she needs now is a family! We do think she would do better with older kids.

More about this rescue

Located near Charlotte, NC. We are a small rescue(100% volunteer run and foster based) that helps homeless cats and dogs. We do NOT have a physical shelter - all of our rescues are in private foster homes. We therefore require a completed application in order to meet our pets. Unless you come to an adoption event.

Our Mission:
Paws of Piedmont is a rescue organization that is dedicated to finding homes for abandoned and abused animals, educating the public about responsible pet ownership, and promoting the ultimate way to help reduce over population/euthanasia of pets by spaying and neutering of pets.
