My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snickers is currently living in a foster home near Mount Horeb, Wisconsin.

Snickers is as handsome as they come. And his inside is just as beautiful as his outside! For fun, his Houston foster had a DNA test done and they found out that he is 53% husky. Snickers does have several husky attributes including a love of running. But, unlike a typical husky, Snickers comes when you call and is very obedient. Snickers also does not have a typical thick undercoat, so he is easier to keep clean and is very soft. Snickers is a friendly, affectionate and all around loving fellow. He gives super hugs, likes making new friends, enjoys stuffed toys and antlers, and is playful with other dogs. Snickers particularly loves to play wrestle and play chase with his smaller one year old foster brother. Despite his long legs Snickers only weighs about 40 pounds. Snickers would prefer an active-ish family and would likely thrive with another dog friend and would love a fenced yard. Snickers is very good in the house. He is very teachable and enjoys car rides and hanging out with his people. He would make a great adventure buddy for anyone looking for a hiking companion. Snicker's intelligence and trainabillity will make someone a very special four legged friend! He would love a family with children over the age of 8.
