My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Murakami (Muri for short), a friendly and loving calico gal. Muri loves attention: she likes to roll around and invite you to pet her belly, then playfully wriggles just out of reach so you have to keep following her around. Be prepared for gentle cues from Muri when she hasn't been petted in a bit: she will reach out and gently tap you with her paw to remind you she needs some attention. Once she adjusts to her new home, she will likely want to sleep beside you, or at least right next to the bed. Her favorite
toy is the laser pointer, but she also likes to chase around headlights coming in through the windows! She also enjoys gazing out windows and making cute chirping noises at the birds outside. Muri has been returned twice by separate adopters due to aggression towards other pets in the home, so she needs to be an only-cat. If you are looking for a sweet, charming kitty to be the queen of your world, then you simply must meet sweet Murakami!

More about this rescue

Siglinda Scarpa is a potter and a sculpter who owns 3 acres of fenced-in property in which she houses up to 258 homeless cats. The Refuge is a sanctuary for these cats, who never have to leave, but if they are adoptable, the cats are posted on our website and taken to adoption events in the community. The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.
