Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Reba – food lover, gentle observer, and queen of the “night night nutriberry.”
Reba is a 30-something Amazon parrot with a serious soft spot for snap peas, dancing, and people who respect her personal space. She's the more reserved half of a bonded pair—her partner-in-parrot, Archie, handles most of the chaos while Reba supervises with a look that clearly says, “Really, Archie?”
Though she’s not a fan of hands-on handling, Reba is curious and growing more playful by the day. She’s recently started playing games with her foster mom, exploring outside her cage, and even participating in some peekaboo fun (“Where’s Reba?” is now a favorite game). She loves mist baths, gently takes treats from your hand, and has slowly begun stepping up onto a perch with more confidence. Her favorite part of the day? Receiving her “night night nutriberry” at bedtime—she won’t settle down until she gets it.
Reba loves her daily chop, adores barking like a dog (it’s adorable, trust us), and occasionally surprises everyone with a graceful little flight across the room. She’s not clingy, but she is quietly affectionate in her own way and has the potential to form a strong bond with someone who respects her boundaries.
Reba and Archie must be adopted together—they’re a well-balanced, deeply bonded pair. Both have made huge strides on their healthy diet, slimming down and thriving in foster care. Reba does have a mild heart murmur that will need monitoring, so their future home should be comfortable managing senior bird care with the support of an avian vet.
If you’re looking for a funny, food-motivated, and totally endearing Amazon duo to share your home (and maybe your peas), Reba and Archie are ready.
Adoption Fee: $450 for the pair
