Hi, I'm Fern!
I was dropped off on the side of a rural road in southern Illinois and a good samaritan found me and called Safely Home Canine Rescue. They came and picked me up, and let me play with some of their dogs. One of the other dogs didn't like me at first and was barking at me, but I didn't mind at all! I heard the human talking to someone and he said I was non-reactive. He said I was sweet and playful and I do like other dogs :)
I was happy to play with those other dogs, and my good samaritan had cats. They are sneaky little ones, but I saw them and wanted to play with them, but I didn't.
I know a girl is not supposed to tell her age or weight, but I think I am almost a year old, maybe I already had my birthday, but no one had a party for me. And I am 42 pounds right now and the human said I look really good.
